what's your most expensive shoe purchase?

My most expensive shoe purchase were these Choos, which I bought a year ago. They were just under $800 (I bought them in the UK) including taxes. They are beautiful....and I have yet to wear them. (sorry for the big picture!)

$1800 for some alligator cowboy boots from Stallion boot company (awesome awesome boot quality! My favorite boot-maker). This was 8-9 years ago, I don't even want to think about what they would cost now!!!

Considering today's weak US $, I bought a pair of Valentino's over 20 years ago for $750. I've since bought custom boots within the past few years that were easily twice this...speaking of which, I should wear them, but I haven't yet.

If you mean purchase price (excluding all customs duties etc) then to date it's the JC Lumiere £355 ($710). But it's my last purchase for at least 6 weeks (April's been really expensive - 4 pairs of CLs, 2 pairs Zanottis and the JCs - my bank account says ush
