What happened to the "read new" button?

It's not just me is it? Am I going crazy? I use the "read latest" button on all the threads I have already visited once, and it seems to have vanished. :s

And I see the "View First Unread" at the top of Page 1 for each thread, but it seems like an extra, unneccessary click has been added.

I apologize, but in the effort to optimize our bandwidth consumption, that graphic had to taken down. I apologize for the inconvenience... but the link within the threads still works fine.
