I found out why their policy is so strict...it's because people who sell the fakes were buying the real thing, taking photos to use in their auctions and then returning the bags.

No of course they can do that buying from another store, but Balenciaga is trying to make it as hard as possible for the scammers -- unfortunately, nice folk like us have to suffer the consequences, too.
