Unbelievably delicious dinner w/ friends last night. Homemade gnocchi with some special mushrooms & light pink sauce. Heavenly! This local restaurant is unique in the sense that upstairs dining area is super fancy/ala elegant white tablecloth style etc but the downstairs is casual/pub style (where we ate). We may return next weekend for our anniversary & try the more "fancy dining" ( even though we are not fancy peeps! [emoji23])

Our feast last night; a Farmers Market salad with greens, burrata, strawberries, raspberries and nectarines, followed by an Heirloom Tomato Tart topped with arugula and pine nuts, and finally the Pasta

Yummy soup. Wow, the ingredients look so pretty laid out like that. What are those carrots (?) next to the orange carrot? I have never seen them before.
Hi IM, the yellow and purple carrots are called rainbow carrots and I have also seen them called heirloom carrots.
