Vachetta feels dry, can you moisturize?

  1. Has anyone experience their vachetta strap feeling dry? I'm afraid that it may crack. Is there anything I can use to moisture it? The SA at my local store told me to place it in the sun for the leather to breathe but I don't to tan it either.

I purchased a Tango a few years ago from eBay and the dishonest seller send me one that the leather was all dried and cracked up.

Any suggestions is appreciated. Thank you.
  2. Use a leather conditioner on it. I use can be bought at Burlington. Others use Wilson's, Shining Monkey, etc.
  3. There's a section on the LV FAQs at the top of the page. I'm sorry I don't know how to post a link here. There are previous threads regarding this that are very helpful. Hope your bag gets better soon
  4. The leather conditioner that Coach sells is awesome!
