Using Collonil on pale coloured leather

  1. Hi all,

Please you you let me know if using Collonil on a pale-coloured leather would make the colour look darker at all? I have only ever used it on my dark coloured Mulberries but I really ought to do my lemon Brooke.

    Cheers

  2. Hi there,

Yes If you collinil a paler coloured leather it will make it slightly darker, try spraying a bit that won`t notice so much and see how it turn`s out.

  3. You don't really have a choice,if you don't spray it you will get a rainstained bag.

  4. If you spray a tiny bit and don`t like the end result then just keep it away from the rain.

Then the choice is yours !

Some people don`t spray their bags at all, its up to you really.

  5. i have a light grey alfie and i sprayed her an i honstly don't think it changed colour at all.

  6. i bought a lemon emmy recently, and treated it with collonil and it was fine!

  7. Thanks everyone - I just sprayed my Brooke and I don't think it changed the colour at all  I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner though as the back has very faint blue marks from where my jeans have rubbed it. Still, better late than never!!
