TYPOS in Rebecca Minkoff Tags??!

  1. Ladies,

I just bought my first ever Rebecca Minkoff bag (black MAC) from Revolve Clothing and I love it! I just noticed on one of the paper tags attached to the bag the "This is an authentic Rebecca Minkoff handbag made of high quality Italian leather..." has some typos! It's weird because it has two of the--a purple cardboard tag with white letters, and a white one with purple letters. I know my bag is made in China...but is it possible this is a fake? Has anyone noticed any typos before?
  2. I haven't noticed anything, but I don't read them all the time. The tags should be blue, not purple. Can you take a picture?
  3. Revolve is an authorized RM seller. I just checked my tags and there are no typos. Chances are it was a printing mistake and I wouldn't worry about it. If you're concerned, feel free to post pictures in the Authorize This RM thread, and someone can help you.
  4. I guess the tags can seem purple.

  6. augh...sorry...that link probably won't work
  7. Upload it to photobucket.

  8.
  9. What exactly are the typos?
  10. I've noticed a typo before but it was just a printing error. Like TGP said- revolve is an authorized retailer and RM is not very highly faked so I wouldn't worry too much. Please post pics of your bag and we can confirm. Thanks!

Here's the link in case it doesn't work. I'm pretty sure the bag is real.

Here's what the tag says exactly, with the weird spacing and typos:

This is an authentic Rebecca Minkoff handbag made of high quality italian leather.Differences in color shading scratch/marks and grain are the inherent characteristics of the lush, natural leathers chosen to create the Rebecca Minkoff collection. This means no two pieces are the same, enabling each customer to purchase a one-of-a-kind hanbag.

The thing is, I've lived in China for a few years and have first-hand experience seeing very good copies and aware of how that industry works. It's very possible this was just a mistake. But it wouldn't surprise me if grade A copies or actual "real" bags are going into the black market in Asia or other places from the factory itself.
  12. ^ Your bag is authentic but I can't see the typos.. I think it's because the picture of the tag is too blurry to make out the exact letters..
  13. I compared your tag to mine and what I can see, our tags are the same. I still can't see a typo. Could you point it out so I know where to look?
  14. I don't see any typos either...:shrugs:

    Gorgeous bag btw!!
