Tiffany love lock necklace defect?

Hi all,

I just bought a silver love lock necklace from Tiffany 10 days ago, and wore it a grand total of 4 times. I just found out that on one side, at the bottom of the heart, the silver plate seems to have an open groove (paper can go through) and I would like to know if this is normal or a defect. Can you please look at the pics of the front and back (1 with and 1 without the opening) and let me kniw if this is normal?

Definitely doesn't look normal to me. I'd take it into the store.

I see what you mean. I would go back and have them take a look and see if other love lock necklaces are the same way.

Thanks guys, I went today and looked at 4 different love locks and they all had the same thing, so I guess it's normal!
