That bag looks like a knock off of our Black Rose frame bag from several years ago. There are several details on it that do not seem authentic though we obviously can't verify online pics without having the bag in hand. Hope this helps!

Is it possible that it's just a really bad repair/refurbishment job?

That bag looks like a knock off of our Black Rose frame bag from several years ago. There are several details on it that do not seem authentic though we obviously can't verify online pics without having the bag in hand. Hope this helps!

I just saw the Valentina shoulder bag in Ivory Lace and it is gorgeous but I am confused about the material. What is "leather lace"? Is it leather with lace overlaid or like some kind of laser cut leather pattern?

Hi Uadjit,

The leather lace on our #VALENTINA shoulder is an embossed cowhide leather with tipping on the top of the embossing to give a two-tone color. The lace on the top is lighter which makes a more vivid lace effect. Hope this helps! It is one of our favorite bags of Spring 13 and one of Aimee Song from Song of Style's favorite bags as well!
