Tabletop wine chillers?

  1. Does anyone own one? I am a total wine geek and thought this was a great idea.

    i was looking at the Waring Pro Wine chiller-but, the reviews aren't good. Brookstone seems to have one with a good rating. Anybody have any ideas?

  2. I don't have one but I would love to see the answers. We are looking at getting a stand-up wine cooler (on that would hold about 48 bottles) and just flip flop as to whether t's really worth it! LOL

  3. Well-I was originally thinking of getting the Waring pro-but, it got very poor reviews.

    I am now interested in this one;

    I wish I could have a wine cooler that fit 48 bottles-but, we just don't have a place for it.

  4. I use the soft, gel-filled koozy kind that you keep in the freezer and shove the bottle into. Not fancy, but it folds flat so it doesn't take up any room in the freezer. I have had two for years now, they don't seem to be degrading, and they are inexpensive.

  5. i have one of those terra cotta cookers, but i use it for my wine chiller

    i fill it with ice & water, the wine is cool in a few minutes...i think it is the same effect
