Spring 2012 Mommies (March - May)

  1. Congratulations Mommies!!! What adorable babies...love all the pics. :cloud9:

I havent been able to log in here in months. I didnt realize how hectic my life would become. My LO is almost 4 months already...cant believe how quickly time flies. Having a 2 year old & the infant has my hands full but I'm loving every moment.

I'm so glad to see everyone is doing so well. Now that I'm back at work, I hope to be able to come here more often.
  2. I hope so, too!!

My life is pretty hectic without a toddler! I can't imagine having my little Smoosh AND an older sibling.
  3. bah.... i just found some stretch marks!! and I've been using cocoa butter every day!
  4. No kidding! My sis going to have #2 before her son turns 2....I just can't imagine the chaos!

Story finally enjoyed a bath last night!!! We bought a sink sprayer and she LOVED it. Lol. I was so glad to have a peaceful experience rather than our usual scream-fest.

P.S. I highly recommend using a dish bucket like this for a bath! It's the same as the Puj tub, but bigger so you can clean their little feet. I can't believe I almost spent $47 on the Puj. This was a dollar...no joke!

  5. Oh my gosh!!! So adorable! What a great idea for a tub. It seems like nowadays they get us moms coming and going for $$$. I try to think what's TRULY necessary and keep it simple. We have a small house!

By the way, Story looks just like you, mama!
  6. Tomorrow I'm back at the office! Don't quite know how to feel yet....
  7. i can join either, my lil girl is born on 29th march 2012!!
  8. Congratulations and welcome! :flowers:

How Did it go, Sarah? I'm still struggling with it two weeks in. That first day is the worst! I'm sure little Vincent Did fine, but that doesn't make it any easier on momma!

Poor Story (and mommy) has a cold. Doesn't stop the smiles though!

  10. Today was rough. It was emotional in the beginning, and surreal in the afternoon. My mind kept telling me lies that I only need to work today and I can go back to being home (if that makes any sense!)

Let's see how tomorrow goes. *sigh*

I hope you both recover quickly from your colds! Those are no fun
  11. Aww. I know What you mean about it feeling surreal. Everyone tilde it would be easier after a week, but it's really not. I just cry less.

I hope it gets better for you though. Do you work long hours? I'm worried about getting time to pump once I find a nursing job.
  12. I work a normal shift, Monday through Friday, 8-5. I'm in marketing though, so a good portion of my day is meeting with clients, and spending time out in the field. So far, I've had enough time to pump (about every 3 hours). I would think that a nursing job would make it more difficult! Oh well, our babes are worth all the struggle and more

I'm hoping my supply kicks it up a notch, because I haven't been pumping the equivalent of what he eats while I'm not there! I might have to bump it up to every 2.5 hours.
  13. I really feel for you ladies that have to go back to work already, I can't even imagine what that must be like

My little sweetie is 2 months old today. As a present she had her first set of shots - poor thing!!!

    She LOVES bath time!
  14. Adorable!
