Altho I remember one year, the San Francisco Hermes of all places! was the first H in America to get the spring scarves and I had to order a good portion and have it shipped to me in NY. So I paid shipping AND that darling NY tax that year.

Feh, Madison. I was there Thursday and SPECIFICALLY asked for the Lafayette scarves and was told that I would be called immediately once they arrived. NO call yet. :cursing: I'm not hustling my butt down there though. Not even for those scarves. Maybe tomorrow. Or Wednesday. :P

BTW with regard to the paying sales tax in NY when having items shipped from elsewhere....I have a way around that. I got a PO box in a nearby state where there is no Hermes presence. :graucho:

I may have to call my local about new scarves and ask about the increase! I'd better start scrounging up moola (from where, I have no idea!) and see if I can get MAYBE one more scarf before the price hike!
