I know exactly what you mean. My Mom just received an ink and she thought it was a so-so color. She said it's just a navy bag and nothing special. I have to admit I was prepared to agree, but for some reason I really liked it. I bought it from her and she's waiting for 3 spring bags and new colors and new styles.
I don't LOVE ink. But I like it. I definately consider it a neutral. To me it's not a wow bag like rouge or greige. I like pinks too and I was so disappointed that the pale spring rose has fading issues. I really wanted that bag. I was so hoping for a spring pink. I think if you don't love the bag, at that price, sell if and get one that you do love.
