Show me the turquoise! :)

Something you don't see everyday: a vintage Navajo child's squash necklace (almost choker length on an adult). And a vintage heishi necklace with beautiful natural turquoise.

Hi, I collect high-quality turquoise Indian jewelry, mostly vintage/antique, some newer. I see you're from the right part of that world.;)

Just a couple of pieces for now. One is a ca. 1945 Navajo cluster bracelet, and the other is a vintage Navajo squash necklace in the Zuni style.

very nice! Do you wear the child's necklace or just have as a collector's piece?

These light, small versions of the squash are definitely nice to wear, not as much a "statement" as the big squashes (you know what I mean). Here's another, a Zuni child's necklace, more delicate, in keeping with Zuni style.
