What do you guys think of these? I'm not one to spend a lot of money on shoes, so I've been looking on eBay. I'm not looking for anything in particular, just whatever catches my eye.

Oh, and if any of these are fake, please point that out! I'm not good at telling with shoes :shame:

I think these are Miu Miu, Chanel and Jimmy Choo. How do these designers usually run, large or small? I normally wear a 9, just for reference.

Thanks!

Definitely the best! Jimmys are so comfortable!
They are size 40, so they may be a little bit to big. In such a case I use to buy a little piece (don't know the name in English) at the shoemakers that you can stick into the shoe. I think with this help the size shouldn't be a problem.

Sorry don't feel much for any of them, if I have to choose one, may be the second one purple chanel. Not sure about authenticity though.

It's cool  I have strange taste when it comes to shoes - the louder the color or funkier the style, the better :P I guess it's because I normally wear solids and muted colors, I like my shoes to stand out.

Thanks everyone! Pradas, I'm also leaning toward the Miu Miu platforms, I love open-toe shoes, and the color is so bright. The purple and red Miu Miu shoes are such a cool color combination, too. I could wear them with cream colored pants and they'd really pop.

bagcrazy - I am going to the cobbler tomorrow to have an extra hole poked into the straps of some black sandals that are too big, so I will ask about the piece you're referring to  I love anything green, and the Choos are

Ugh, decisions! I'll let you all know what I decide on, I can only afford one pair (unfortunately! :amuse: ). Thanks again for your help!

Okay, do people also make fake designer shoe and sell on eBay? Do you need to be careful buying shoes online as well.

The counterfeit market is huge. I wouldn't doubt that there are counterfeit shoes being sold on eBay. I looked up LV shoes today and found a few that were  I think there are many more fake bags being sold on eBay than shoes, but you never know.

I asked the seller of the Jimmy Choos if she'd take her starting bid ($199) as a BIN offer. Those are the ones I really want, but I can't afford to spend more than $200. We'll see what happens

I like those best too

I like the diversity in your choices, and I'm not really sure how to tell whether shoes are fake or real. I think the best thing to do is to ask the seller questions, see the return policy, and check the feedback. Some of the designer shoes that I've gotten off of eBay have been ones that I've seen in the store, and tried on, so I know, in advance, what to look for. Also, I find that shoes, even by the same designer, do fit differently, so it is best to ask for exact measurements. I hope this helps somewhat, and good luck!

Thanks! I tried on a couple of different shoes at the Off 5th Outlet here, and you're right, each designer is different, though the shoes might be the same size. I asked the seller of the Jimmy Choos about the history of the shoes and why she's selling them. It looks like the pictures are of the actual shoes. What concerns me is that she has no feedback. We'll see how she responds.
