Selling FAKE for CHARITY?!?!?

Wait one more thing, this seller was NOT donating the entire amount to the charity. In her listing she wrote:

10% of the final sale price will support The Brain Tumor Awareness Organization!

She fully wanted to profit from the damn fake! Her Buy It Now was set to over 1500.00! Great so $150 for them and $1350 for her! Shame on her!

Does this seem like a lot of ebay identities to anyone else but me?

What is this seller up to?

I would steer clear!

I promise this is my last post this morning about this seller! But, please let's not believe she is naive at all! (Oh, and aside from that, LV tPFers aren't to be messed with!)

Look at one of her other ebay listings! She sure is savvy and yes, quite the marketing master!

Okay, I lied! This is too good! After a quick visit to her website I am shaking my head in disbelief. Her "About Us" link offers the following:

"Pamelas' educational background includes
being a fine arts graduate from the Norwich
Free
Academy high school, Criminal Law &
Justice certification through CCAF, Special
Publications Certification from The Institute of
Children's Literature and has earned her
certification in Grant Consulting, Advanced
Grant Development and Nonprofit Marketing
through online continued education. Pamela
Welsh has recently become a certified mobile
signing agent through the National Notary
Association, is a premier member of Notary
Rotary and she aspires to learn more about
web design in the near future. Some say, she'll
always be a student and she agrees.

So she has some sort of Criminal Law and Justice cert, is a Notary, and is an active member of her Chamber of Commerce and DOESN'T KNOW that selling a FAKE IS WRONG!

I am getting so irked by her, I feel like I need an apology!

I sent the seller a message yesterday asking if the bag was authentic or not and here's what I got from her:

"Hello. Thank you for your questions. I had to pull the listing as I was informed by several other ebayers that it was not an authentic purse for which I did not know. Brand new, yes, but not authentic...I'm sorry"

she claims she didn't know the bag wasn't authentic, yet the leather looks sooo off for a "new" bag (already dark and cheap looking). I would like to give her the benefit of a doubt but I just can't. I simply do not believe her!
I'm glad the listing ended thought!

Oh, i didn't notice that...ok, i no longer feel bad for her, and she no longer has the benefit of the doubt from me, lol

i guess she figured she could get away with it but when the tpf'ers stepped in and warned her and reported her auction then she played all innocent...well i'm glad someone posted her on TPF so we could put an end to it and prevent someone from getting scammed with such an awful fake!!

What??!?! That's crazy!! Unless she's making that biography up, that scares me that someone with that much education and community influence would try to profit off of a 10% charity fake sale!!

Urg i totally don't believe she didn't know it was fake . The whole thing is so messed up

I actually posted the Macha on the report this bag thread yesterday before this thread was started because I was so angered by it. I reported the auction to Ebay and they got back to me much quicker than normal which may have been due to the fact that she was doing it for "charity". Excellent work everyone and thanks for helping in reporting this fake.

What a story!! I can't believe this woman was going to profit so much-- that makes me not sympathize AT ALL!!! I can understand some people don't know about fakes, but this woman not only has alot of education, but she was going to keep literally 90% of the profits!! That is really really bad.

I wrote her & reported her listing yesterday and this was her response:

"Thank you very much. A few other people had written to me, most were nice,
one was not...overall, I had no idea, and now face the loss of over $300
for both purses since they were sold to me as authentic and was told I'd
get a great deal since this was for a charity auction. I am so dead with my
husband!"

I don't buy it, sorry!
