I live in a college town. We have Walmart, Target, Sams club, Barnes and Noble, Circuit City, OfficeMax, Office-depot, Bestbuy, TJMaxx, Ross Dress for Less, pier one (we do not have an IKEA.)

In terms of department stores, we only have one mall with a JCPennys, a Macys, Sears, and Bon-Ton. (No Saks, Norstroms, Neimans or anything really cool like that)

We have a zillion smaller retail stores -- gap, abercrombie, Express, Victorias Secret, Hollister (just got that one!), Eddie Bauer, AE, etc. (But we do NOT have a Banana Republic, a Limitted, or a J Crew)

Shopping is rather lame here. We do have a few good locally owned clothing shops w/ a variety of good designer labels available.

In the greater Philadelphia area we have everything from Saks, NM, Nordstrom's, Lord and Taylor, Macy's and of course Sears and JCPenney's. We also have Boscov's, I think that's how you spell it. I no I am forgetting something!

thank you everyone for posting! This definetly gives me a general idea for my stats class. Keep em coming! This project is going to take months! I live in LA so we literally have a lot of shopping here. I definetly need canada's input so anyone from canada would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again ladies for making my first post a breeze!:girlsigh:
