Removing patina?

So I had just ordered an LV off ebay and received it today. It is a Neo Speedy & the back part of where the vachetta is, there is a spot that is darker. Is there any way to lighten the spot?

I don't think so, but once the rest of the bag turns then it should blend in.

is there any way I can blend it in on my own? It's kinda funny-looking, in my opinion.

Nope, there is no way to lighten it... perhaps to even it out, try applying baby oil to the parts that aren't as dark as that one area?

Makeup wipes, but use with caution.... if the vachetta is light right now, it will darken it a tad but it WILL take off a good amount of "darker spot" and will even out the bag.
