Prices outside Europe are substantially higher due to import/luxury/local taxes in different countries. Converting the prices from Euros is inaccurate. There is a thread that is regularly updated to reflect prices in different areas.

That's true some will be more due to parity of prices.

That's just what I paid for my KC in EUR. It's a ballpark I would say.
