Question re: postage to UK

  1. Hi, I'm hoping that my UK friends can help me answer this question. I'm selling a handbag on eBay and I got this question from an UK potential buyer:

    >will it be possible to send it as a recorded postage

What does this mean? Is this advisable? Many thanks!

  2. It means you can track it, and it's insured up to a certain amount
ETA: It also means it has to be signed for. As far as I know it's just an internal UK thing, but provided you send your item insured and with tracking available it's the same as that

  3. Yes, recorded delivery is the name of a domestic mail service, but often used colloquially to describe a parcel that can be tracked/offers signed for service. Hope that helps!
