I have a pen in mine. I try not to use my front pocket too much.. I worry about dirty-ing the white leather!!!

GASP! I'm too scared to carry a pen, though I want to. With my luck, the one time in my life a pen explodes will be in my Bbag!

For me, it's just phone and sometimes keys.

Just my metrocard for the subway -- it's thin so it keep the clean line of the bag, while giving me easy access and not requiring I take out my wallet.

i have a little photo i found on the street in there right now and some shells from a recent sunday. oh, and a safety pin. never know when you'll need a safety pin.

I keep keys, cellphone, Blistex and the mirror in the front pocket. Right now I also have cough drops.

I keep all my folded up receipts in there since they won't fit in the little pocket inside my city.

I keep my Metro pass, my work security pass and my key in the front pocket. In my Day I can also fit my phone (PEBL) and my iPod (30GB vid). Just for an idea of size. The latter two won't fit in the City at all.
