Home & Garden Please help me decorate my apartment!

i don't have room for all 4 chairs around the table unfortunately. the cat food is one one side and i have other stuff (that i'm slowly getting rid of- a box with a cat bed on it and a workout step) on the other. i'm worried about too many colors in here since it's not too big a space. i also don't have room for the ottoman by the chair. unless you guys have ideas.

wisnow- i have ALWAYS wanted to go to home goods but no car right now. though if they open on 100 and columbus that would be awesome. we just got a close target and marshalls which is like heaven.

I have to go back and study your pictures more to be able to give you more concrete ideas, but I just have to say I LOVE your coffee table, and the giraffe rug you linked to.

he is! they both are! i have another pic of him entirely in front of my face. lol. and you can't see the pain from him ripping me up to get up there. i need to cut his back claws. if only he would let me. sheesh.

i love my coffee table too. i think it cost me something like 40 dollars bc i had a gc to pottery barn. it's an outdoor table actually but that means it cleans up spills better (and i'm a big spiller). i love the giraffe rug but am thinking maybe it's too dark?

I thought of a chandelier in the dining room too.

I don't know where that bike thing would fit in.

For me, I got the sense that you were trying to go feminine & fashion. So maybe that should be the theme that ties the house together.

For example, in my house I'm planning on being all about art...so I have Van Gogh and Munch prints as big pieces and then all my postcards from museums I've visited around the world that I'll make a wall collage of.

i have thought of a chandelier too but haven't found one i like yet. i kind of want something unfussy, something clean. i don't necessarily want it to stand out.

i'm def looking for feminine. quirky. not really fashion per se.

would love more rug/ lighting ideas. those are the 2 things i'm trying to focus on right now. i like the idea of a bright rug but can't wrap my head around purple or pink in that space. i tried looking at the color website but it overwhelmed me. i don't know how to make it work with the colors i already have in there. kwim?

i was thinking about taking away the hermes boxes and putting the wicker ottoman thing there. it's the right width but it's too inches deeper and i think it might cut into my walking around too much.
