Nikki/Nicki at Chevy Chase Saks SUCKS

  1. Ok, I just got off the phone with one of the RUDEST SA ever!!! I'm not usually one to call SA rude because I have firsthand experience and I'm pretty understanding but man this SA deserves a shout!

    I wake up at 7am (because of the time difference) so I can call Chevy Chase Saks when they open because I was able to track down a purse I wanted last night with at 3am (the things we do for purses huh?!) and Nicki assisted me. From the start I could she was in it for the commission because I asked if she could fulfill my order and she told me to just order it directly from her. OK, fine, all dandy....

    I give her a call back in 10 mins. and ask her if she would match the promotion code I used on, she rudely says "no, you're going to have to order it from someplace else" so I'm like "oh ok" in a questionable tone and she hangs up! I give her another call back in aprox.5 mins. and I say, "Hi Nicki, it's Jenny again, I'll go ahead and order the purse now" and she tells me "I can't, I'm sorry, I can't sell it to you because it's already been presold." Ok fine, it's possible that within that 5 mins. someone else called or came in and bought the bag but I swear she said it in a condescending tone as if she was laughing at me for not ordering it earlier. :mad: ARGHHHHHHHHHH. And how does a bag get PRESOLD if presale is over?

    I hate her. Time to contact Catherine and voice my complaint. Maybe I'll get my bag afterall :rolleyes:
  2. Mello, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I have dealt with Nikki a few times and she has been very helpful. I'm on my way over there around 2, do you want me to beat her up and tell me what bag you are looking for...I'll do some digging and see if I can find it.
  3. I would call back and ask the operator to speak with a manager. Explain the situation and see what happens.

  6. elongreach - OMG! You're the sweetest ever!! I wish I could personally go there myself so I can give her a piece of my mind... or at least the assistant manager a piece of my mind!

    If you could get any information out of Nikki (or anyone else) or if the bag "magically" pops up, would you mind putting it on hold under your name and I'll call and do the charge send or whatever?

    I called the general manager but she's out so I left a msg with the assistant manager. Hopefully she'll call me back soon and can do something about it!
  8. Haha, yea, you definitely don't want to get a bad rep here. There is a lot of money to be lost if that happens.

  10. So sorry to hear you had a poor experience. There is no excuse for rudeness, especially when that SA's job is dependent on our shopping habits! Sheesh! As the statistics suggest, if you have a good experience, you're likely to tell 2-3 people...but if you have a bad experience, you're likely to tell 10-12 people. Applause for sharing! I'll stay clear of that SA if I am ever in the area!

  12. Yikes, I'm actually in the DC area. Keep us posted on how it turns out. I had a bag experience at Neimans, well not terrible more annoying, but still!
  13. that just sux jenny! i wonder if she just didn't want to sell the bag to you by telling u that it's been sold just to spite you. i hope u'll be able to get your bag after the trouble u went through.

    i've had my share of rude SAs the past few nights too. i've had those that hang up on me b4 i even get to say 'bye'. they just go "no we don't have it" CLICK. gone. i've had so many of them.

    other's are like suspicious of my intentions.
    "are you interested in buying it?". does it matter? i'm the customer, i asked you to check, go check. even if i'm not planning to buy it NOW, i might later so what's wrong with checking it for me? i stay up till 4am so that i wait for it to turn 10am in america when it's quiet so that i won't be too much trouble when it's busy.
