Great buys!! You know, every time I see the papillion I remember when I was just starting to get into LV, and expensive handbags in general, I met this woman who and we started talking about LV for some reason and the fact that they're bags (well most back then) were canvas and not leather, and she pulled out her papillion and said she had owned hers for 25+ years, and all she had ever done to it was have the leather trim and handles replaced once...and it looked impeccable...it was in great shape. That gave me a huge vote of confidence to buy LV....sorry to trail off, but I really do love your newbies!!!

Actually is is not vachetta that will patina. This papillon was made with cross-grain leather so it does not patina.

I didn't know it... Excuse my ignorance! LOL! However, it's great..I think you don't have to worry about water stains, isn't it?
