My Labor started...

  1. I'm 1.5 cm. dilated and still a month early...
both my girls were also a month or more early...
so I guess it is expected...

Had emergency c-section on my first baby and natural on the second baby...
    and right now...
    I am feeling scared...
I'm kinda anticipating the pain that i know will come soon...
I was sooo tempted to tell my doctor last night to just do a c-section
so I dont have to go through all that pain again...

I feel bad for feeling this way...
its just that my pregnancies are difficult because of my diabetis
but I have never ever complained
or voiced out what I am going through to my family and friends...
I actually typed my woes but decided to delete it...

I have no questions just wanted to vent out some emotions...
I am exited to see and hold my son after all this is over...
I guess that's what keeps me spirits up...

Please include us in your prayers...

its weird that we find comfort in strangers...
and I think it makes it the more genuine and heart warming:love:

  7. You'll be fine, try not to worry. Isn't it wonderful, and scary and mysterious being a woman. I'll be waiting for baby with you and praying.

  10. Thinking of you!!!

  11. Hi Sarsi - have you started contractions or had your water break or anything, or are you just dilated? You could walk around for weeks a little bit dilated, especially having given birth before. You may end up not being early at all if it doesn't happen for another 2 weeks, since 38 weeks is considered full term.

If you think you really want a c-section, then you should go ahead and ask for one. Whatever will be easiest on you. What's important is that you and baby are healthy at the end of it, not how you get there.

I know how difficult it is to go through pregnancy with a medical condition - I've got two appointments a week right now - but it will all be worth it when you get to hold your son!!

  12. Hang in there, Sarsi! You and the baby will be fine. Take Care.

    Keep us posted!

  13. All the best Sarsi :flowers: Hope all goes well. I get so excited when i hear about you ladies giving birth. Please let us know how everything goes :girlsigh:
