Miradry - Stop Excessive Underam Sweating

Its been 7 days since my treatment and I am very pleased. The treatment itself was slightly painful in the more sensitive areas of my armpit. The doctor had to give me more anaesthetic and it was fine after that. I was sent home with ice packs for my underarms which I had to keep iced for the rest of the day and all of the next day.

I had some swelling which is completely normal and I did experience a little bit of pain on the following day and I just took some Advil and it was fine. I still have some swelling now seven days later and it is slightly uncomfortable when I'm wearing a bra but it's a small price to pay to be sweat free. I have only used deodorant twice in the seven days perhaps just out of habit. I have to check back in in two months time to see if I need the second treatment or not.

So for anyone thinking about undergoing this treatment I say just do it you won't regret it.

the swelling could take up to more than a week
I am glad that work out for you.
As far as I read online and feedback from dermatologist that two treatments will give you best result. (permanent)
Do you mind if I ask how much for each treatment? The price could be different in some area(state)

Really depends on what you are happy with. For some people, one treatment gives them enough relief that they don't need a second treatment. Other people may need two treatments. That's why you have to wait three months to better assess your requirements for a second treatment. My doctor said the majority of people don't come back for the second treatment and a happy with the outcome that they have received.

I am in Australia so the cost will be different to where you are, and The treatment has been adapted to suit Australian requirements.

I haven't ever had these procedures but when I was younger I did have severe problems with underarm sweating. Not sure if it will work as effectively as Miradry, but have you tried Drysol? It worked very very well for me. It's a product you dab onto your armpits every night before you go to sleep.
Just make sure to follow the directions with the product! It's about $25 where I live. It's in the deodorant section. When I was in my teenage years, and my sweating was extreme I would use the extra strength one every night. Now that I only sweat a bit too much and my skin is more sensitive, I only need to use the mild one once a week.

If your skin is sensitive I would start out by trying the mild version (with the dabber), but make sure you follow the directions! Especially, no shaving the area the same day as you use the drysol.

Hopefully someone who has had those procedures can answer your question though!
drysol gave me itchy armpit all day and night for me....be cautious on that^^

I work at a place that does Miradry and was so excited to have it done. I do not have hyperhydrosis (Excessive sweating) but more of an armpit odor I was aware of, that I was insecure about for years. Im talking, applying 2-3 different deoderants several times a day.
I got the Miradry done and found it to make the smell worse. No biggie, because I work there I knew I could have it done again at the recommended 3 month post point.
I had the second treatment and its been 15 months since that second treatment (plenty of time for any residual inflammation to resolve) and now I have permanent discoloration, hard marble-like bumps that are visible when I raise my arms and fat atrophy/depressions in that area.
The Miradry rep even came out to our office to see me results and said she had never seen anything like it and "it should resolve with time" that was a year ago.
So, yes, the odor has greatly improved and I may be a freak of nature who gets terrible side effects that no one has ever seen before, but beware: there are risks to every procedure.

Do they allow you do more than 2 treatments? If you are able to ask one of specialists. Thanks
