The beige is gorgeous. I completely understand--I have a beige lambskin shoulder bag and I'm scared to wear it--so far I've only worn it once and was so paranoid the whole time! You'll have more peace of mind with the black. Not sure what grade you teach, but especially if you're around young children the black would be better. On the other hand I've heard that caviar leather is easier to clean than lambskin, so maybe it would be O.K.?
