Thanks everyone! Oh yeah, the leather is TDF soft. It feels like SILK! I'm not kidding!! 
The color is a very true beige, medium in hue. The oxidized look of the hardware just pops off this color!
Cosmopolitan, your black double flap is GORGEOUS!! This bag is from last year, I believe the spring collection.

Thanks, Prada Psycho! It actually makes me appreciate my 2005 bag a bit more knowing that its still in current Chanel circulation.
ITA agree with you about the lambskin leather on this bag. It is so soft and smooshy. The bag is extremely unstructured when the stuffing is removed; it collapses almost like a Balenciaga. It looks so chic and slouchy slung over the shoulder.
