Just returned a made in the USA speedy today! I am an American and proud of it but I do want a bag stamped in it's country of origin!
i agree with u guys, i was gonna buy myself a LV wallet for my 15th bday but found out made in spain so im like no thank you. 
Usually when you purchase the style that just recently comes out, you'll still get it made-in-France. Later on when the style becomes very popular, they have to assemble the bags in the US to meet the high demands. So you get the made-in-USA ones. (But many SLGs are made-in-Spain even right after they are released for the first time.)
