I called 866-VUITTON and got one for free, NO shipping charges either

Now you must have the "touch" because I just called and couldn't get one without the S&H - $10. I said "no thank-you".

The only time I got one free from calling 866 was when the 2006 ones came out. They didn't have any 2006 ones in stock at the moment, so they offered to send me the 2005 one free. I took it, because I didn't have the 2005 one.

I get mine from the boutique free. Even if you don't purchase, you can just ask for one.

I'm in Canada. I had to pay 10.00 for one a few years ago but I got the knew blue one for free. When I got the blue one for free it was from a boutique I visit often and the SAs know me. I think they can charge you if you aren't a customer.
