yes, it is 8 knot tote but it's hard to wear it over the shoulder.

I don't understand why they don't make certain bags with longer handles. I bought the ultimate soft and absolutely loved it but the handle wasn't long enough. I need to be able to throw my bag on my shoulder.

Didn't this bag come in two different designs? A tote AND a hobo? I seem to remember seeing one that had a longer drop on the strap......
