For my last bag for 08, I decided to try something different and bought the JT HB Satchel in navy.

The leather is to die for. The glaze is gorgeous and the red nappa lining is silky soft. The pockets and the whole interior are all lined in leather. The lining weighs this bad boy down plus you have a ton of thick leather like the Chloe 05 paddy leather. Not as thick and pebbly but pretty close. The hardware is all really nice, big, and easy to use. The purse charm chain is a little much so I may remove it.

The stitching is all immaculate and the contrast red details are all finished nicely. For a hand-made bag, you really can't tell because the QC is impeccable.

I have been so tempted by this brand ever since Megs' review on tPB a while ago. Good to hear that it is as lovely in person! Tell us more! It looks very distressed, is the leather even? Where did you order from? Is it heavy? Is the hardware nice? Can you post a modeling pic?

(And what is JT HB? Sorry but I don't recognize all acronyms. I'm not familiar with that. Is is available in Europe?)

Thanks! I will post modeling pics over the weekend and better pics of the bag in sunlight (if it ever stops pouring rain here :smile1:).

JT Italia is the name of the brand. They are handmade in Italy but sold in the US at a couple of retailers. Not sure about europe availability.

The bags name is HB Satchel.

I purchased it from Lux Couture.

The leather is distressed but there is a glaze to it that the flash doesn't pic up. I am going to take better shots of the leather over the weekend if the sun ever comes out. The leather is even throughout, but has this cool distressed texture to it.

It is a heavy bag. Like chloe paddy heavy. Weighs about 4 pounds.

The inside and pockets are lined with a smooth red nappa leather. Very soft and gorgeous. Reminds me of my red Valentino couture's leather.

The hardware is gorgeous. It is the color of rose gold and high polished. It is big and chunky. Teh zippers all work very easy and the larger pulls make it easier to close the bag. The handles are totally adjustable on the bag on both sides which gives you about 8 inches to play with on each side.
