For $300, i would find a used noe on ebay and have it authenitcated here. Its a lot less stressful than having you bag repaired and it'll look weird with old canvas and new vachetta.

My large Noe is my favorite bag and the same thing happened to me, I'm still trying to decide whether nor not to replace. What did you end up doing? If replaced how much did it cost? Thanks!

Yea, I have to agree with the other TPFers - wear and tear. Do you love this bag? Do you plan on keeping this bag for awhile?
If yes, then consider getting it repaired. It's Your bag - it's been with you all these years... It'll be your adventure with your bag. Then you'll have it for another 8+ years!
But if you're not attached to your bag in any way and don't want to bother with it - sell it and use that toward another bag.

This clear looks like wear and tear in my opinion. It really looks like it was heavily used. Are you the original owner?
