i think the question you should be asking is "will the classic flap still be popular with young people 20 years down the road"...
its all in the name-- the classic flap. it may only have become popular with the younger crowd in the last couple of years, but the bag itself has been around for a LONG time (grandma's bag!), and i'm pretty sure that it'll still be around even when fashion dictates that it is no longer "in" for young girls to be seen carrying it. So yes, it definitely is a classic! =)
