Greentea, I completely agree with you. Wear what suits you best. BUT, I must say that I think the blue jean is a difficult choice. I had a brand spanking new one in 35cm Birkin, and as I have two bags in gold and a barenia toile mix, I never picked up the BJ to go out. I sold her, and promptly kicked myself for doing so. She was clemence, I believe, very nice and rigid - the way some of the bags lose their shape dampens my enthusiasm for a few of the leathers, and also the weight.
Re: blonde and colors...I personally am starting to lean toward the vert anis, regardless of age. It IS a cool-toned color and look fantastic with white, brown, and black. Others too, but I'm not that brave as some of these other lovely ladies! I'd say buy both and enjoy.
