I'm becoming a Makeup Artist

Congrats on your new venture!
Suggestions for business:
- Advertise yourself by word-of-mouth
- Have your girlfriends act as models and do some 'before & after' and attached to your portfolio for clients to see. Actually, take lots of pictures, everyone likes visuals. Show different types of looks (glam, natural, classic etc.) and have pics of different ethnic backgrounds to show you have the skill for all faces.
- Start up a website. I know when my friends were looking for local make-up artists for special occasions and weddings, many looked on-line.

Good luck! This can be such an exciting business to get into!
