I can't keep waiting for my tassels to split? Should I try and help them along?

hihi when i got my pale rose weekender i split my tassels straight after i got it of of the dustbag....love it that way !

( now my cities dont have split tassels .. maybe cos i couldnt be bothered i never use them since have work and weekender...)

One of my tassels on my Sandstone is splitting the in the middle. I've just left it alone.. I'll let it split on it's own. I don't mind split tassels, I think they look cool too.. but I'm worried esp. after reading LP's post..eek!

Ack! I guess I'm the only one who desperately tries to prevent my tassles from splitting! ush: My black first's (sold) tassles split really quickly...like within a month. Luckily the tassles I have now haven't split. I heard a rumor that blow drying them on high heat causes them to split? I have no clue if this would work but it kinda makes sense.

Have a look at my make-up clutch and I hope you can see how the tassels on the clutch have split as opposed to the extra tassels that came with the clutch :

I'm not a fan of split tassels, and if they do split, then they go under the CeeJay-fix-o-matic glue-em-up routine! I have a special brush that I use to paint on the glue (leather glue) and a board and ruler that I use, and once I'm done, those suckers never come apart again!! Of course, I also have this .. HA!!!!
