  8. Pictures are at the bottom. I'm completely inept at getting them IN the actual post:p

    Under $200k = Nada

Cheapest = $614,000. 5 bed, 2 full bath. No sq. ft. given. Total teardown (in our town the teardowns are about 600k... in my aunt's town there was a 2.3 mil tear down and just recently a 4.4 mil house bought and it is a teardown! ridiculous!). Only picture of exterior and the lot so I can't include an interior shot of any kind. (just the first picture is of this one). On an acre lot.

    900-1.3mil = $974,900. 4 bed, 3 full, 2 half bath. appx. 4000 sq.ft. Pictures 2 & 3. On just over an acre lot.

And probably one of the pricier properties, 3.3mil. around 8000 sq ft, 6 bed, 6 bath. Pictures 4 & 5. On 2.5 acres.

I'd say the majority of existing homes are at the 900,000-1.5 mark... and the new constructions are all 2 mil and up.

  13. I live few miles away from Helsinki, the capital of Finland, but here's the place where I live. It's really new area, all the houses are only few years old and I love the way they all look the same

I've attached a photo that shows the whole area from above, as well as some photos showing the houses in more detail. Sorry I don't know any of the statistics and prices :shrugs:

  14. Jenwv That is too weird my cousin lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia & her name is Jenny LOL Small world. But I don't think she has an interest in bags.

  15. My DH is a contractor and we are in the process of looking for a house in our neighborhood to flip, so this is right up my alley! I'll feature some homes in Area 5 of San Francisco (Noe Valley, Glen Park, Castro, Haight):

    1. $550,000, 1 bd, 1 bathroom, 1 car garage, 608 Sq Ft. FIXER
This one is a couple of blocks from my house, but in not as great an area because it is on a busy street. The advantages: two blocks from Glen Park Canyon (a nice place to hike), and two blocks from BART, the subway that takes you downtown and all over the bay.
    2. $819,000, 1 bd, 1 bath, 1 car garage (w/room for 3 cars), 820 Sq. Ft.
This one is closer to 24th street, a nice shopping area with restaurants, boutique stores, and pubs. Also located on the J muni streetcar line that takes you downtown.

    3. $1,549,000, 3 bd, 1.5 bath, 1 car garage, No Sq. Ft. Available

Located on Liberty Hill, a gorgeous area in the sunbelt near Dolores Park, Noe Valley, and The Castro. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, parks, and streetcars.

    4. $1,700,000, 4 bd, 4 bath, 2 car garage, 3000 Sq. Feet

Great Victorian in the historical Haight-Ashbury area, close to stores, restaurants, and leftover hippies.

    5. $7.5 Million, 7 bd, 7 bath, 4 car garage, 7557 Sq. Ft.

In the same general area as the others, except more foliage.
