A family is where you can find unconditional love and the best comfort. A family supports you when you are down and warns you if you are going the wrong way. But a family does not always stick together. Sometimes things may go to another direction which leads into a rift between family members. It may be resolved in no time, but it may also keep on going, on and on. Merely human beings, celebrities also deal with the same issue. Here are some of the famous family feuds: Jolie-Dad, Interrupted Angelina Jolie has been long estranged from her father, Jon Voight. The pair fell out in 2002 when Voight said in a TV interview that he thought her daughter needed to "get help" for "serious mental problems." They haven't spoken since. Jolie eventually legally dropped Voight as her last name, taking "Angelina Jolie" as her legal name. Voight admitted recently that he wants to reconcile with his estranged daughter and meet his new granddaughter, Shiloh.Spelling Hills 90210 Rumors of a rift between Tori Spelling and her mother, Candy Spelling, first surfaced in September 2005 when Tori separated from her first husband, Charlie Shanian, and then eloped with then-married Dean McDermott. Some sources also claimed that Tori's semiautobiographical TV series, "So NoTORIous," in which her mother is portrayed as a conceited, materialistic mother, has fuelled more family feud. However, Tori denied the speculations insisting that the feud with her mother has nothing to do with her divorce and re-marriage, nor with her show. The former "Beverly Hills 90210" star said she felt betrayed after she found out that her mother had been spending time with a Beverly Hills businessman named Mark Abramson while her father, Aaron Spelling, was ailing. The tension between the two increased recently after Candy failed to call Tori to inform that her father has died. The Aniston-Mom Break Up The rocky relationship between Jennifer Aniston and her mother, Nancy Aniston, already began while Jen was growing up. Jen said she was made to feel "unbeautiful" by her mother, who constantly criticized her as a girl. Aniston has twice broken off communication with her mother. The first time was after Nancy did a TV interview and talked about Jen's private life. But Nancy denied it claiming that she was duped into revealing all about her daughter. The second was after Jen found out that her mother wrote a book about their relationship entitled "From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir." They have reportedly patched things up after Jen's divorce from Brad Pitt. Julia Roberts: Oh Brother... Julia Roberts and her brother Eric Roberts have not spoken for more than a decade. It was said that the two became estranged after Julia sided with Kelly Cunningham, Eric's then girlfriend, in the couple's 1993 custody battle over their daughter, Emma Roberts. Eric also accused his sister of never helping him in his times of need. Speaking on radio "shock jock" Howard Stern's TV show, Eric said, "I got her first role for her, but she's turned her back on me for years." Their relationship seems to have improved since Eric visited Julia at the hospital shortly after the birth of her twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, in November 2004. Eminem is No Mommy's Boy Eminem's dislike of his mother, Debbie Mathers-Briggs, is notorious. Anyone listening to Eminem's songs should have known by now what he feels about his mother. The rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, has written many unflattering verses about his mom. Eminem accuses his mother of being mentally unstable and lazy. He has also taken the feud to the big screen with his semi-autobiographical movie, "8 Mile," in which he portrayed his mother as a good-for-nothing drug addict. When Meg Hates Mommy The feud between Meg Ryan and her mother, Susan Jordan, has been going on for over 10 years. Meg fell out with her casting agent mom after she publicly criticized her in a magazine article. The "When Harry Met Sally" star also claimed that she was abandoned by her mother when she was 15. It was also said that Meg has never forgiven her mother for divorcing her father, according to sources close to the family. Susan has spoken openly about the tension between her and her daughter. She described Meg as "a cold-hearted manipulator who revels in her power to hurt me [Susan]."
