Travel Holidays with kids in Europe...any advice on where to go?

Im from the UK and usually Normal UK (and most western European) families who want to holiday in Europe go to Spain, Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Malta, Bulgaria.

In the Uk they are known as "package holidays" which are not overpriced, good value for families and lots to do.

I would suggest Crete in Greece, there is lots to do and it has so much family fun. A good hotel is Star Beach Village, take a look http://www.starbeachvillage.gr/

I'd recommend Denmark. We used to go there all the time when I was a kid, and it is as far as I've experienced an overall child-friendly country. The climate is good as it's not as hot as many southern places, and people there tend to speak good english. They also have a lot of fun stuff to do, like legoland. Also, Copenhagen is a wonderful city which I also believe is very child-friendly compared to many other capitals.
