This is my personal experience.

Before: When I get a shawl/scarf, I already know which bag I would like to match it with.

Now: I bought scarves/shawls because I see all these beautiful photos, and for some, I don't have a bag to match them with right now...so I am brainstorming which bags to get to match them.
