Hi, guys,

Apart from random comments, I've never posted before, I've just been quietly stalking about the Mulberry Forum. Over and over, I read useful advice from you ladies, especially concerning difficult choices.
My conundrum is choosing between a small and a regular sized Bays double zip in taupe shiny goat. I have purchased the small one from Mulberry.com,All in all I'm pleased with the bag itself, it feels a bit small compared to my other bags. What I really have a problem with, is the length of the handle drop. I thought I could adjust it to fit on my shoulder, but it's too tight... so I'm having thoughts of sending it back and buying a regular sized one. My only concern with that one, is that it'll be too heavy.

Do you ladies have experience with both versions of this bag? which size would you choose?

Chose regular.
But, that's what I usually choose--personal taste & needs.

Imo, small & regular double zip bays are different looks/vibes. Not only different sizes.
M.com photos--

Cut & paste the 2 images, adjust so both are same size.
Should notice visual differences better. Especially width of section between handles, lock size/proportion, & handle adjustment strap length.

Hope helps.
Some here own both sizes, so better photos/advice probable. ;)

The more I look at photos, the more i also think the regular is better. I can only wear the small crossbody or in the crook of the arm, or handheld. The latter 2 are not options for me, since I like to have my hands free at all times. Thank you for your links, very helpful.
PS: its ability to double as a weapon also speaks for the regular one
Thank you for the tips! :smile1:

I have the small and love it but I'm not working at the moment so it is an ideal size for all my bits and pieces. When I do get a job I am hoping to buy the larger size so that it fits my laptop and all the other stuff I need.

I am working, and although I don't need a laptop to take to work, it still feels too small... I think the regular sized double zip would make a great work bag, as it fits a lot and is well structured thanks to all the compartments. I will get one! :tpfrox:

Looking at both of the pictures, regular is better. Don't get me wrong, they both look so gorgeous but it is always your decision to make. Choose the one that you feel you are most comfortable with. Also, choose the bag that fits your lifestyle. Think wisely.

Personally I prefer the small, as I find the larger size too bulky. I carry a continental purse, iPad mini, personal & work phones, and quite a few other things in mine. If you carry a lot of stuff, go for the larger size though!

I think the small is super cute! I would definitely pick the small if it was me. Such a lady like size in my opinion :)
The size is ladylike-i see what you mean- and the bag looks very elegant in the crook of the arm. My problem is with the handle drop. I have quite skinny arms, so i thought i could wear it on the shoulder, but it feels uncomfortable and it looks weird. I think longer handles on the small one would be a good idea--- it'll still be light and not look bulky, but also practical. I decided I'm going to get a regular one, but I worry that it'll break my back when I stuff it. Crook of the arm, very unpractical, i think.
