Help! I was given a blue LV epi speedy. The back of the handle is black from use.

  1. What can I do to clean it? Has anyone ever try to dye their LV?

  2. baby wipes

  3. I would gently try mr.clean magic eraser...I have had good luck with that on really grimy vachetta and vernis, it even got white paint off the vachetta. I will see if I can did up the before and after pics for you.

  4. Here you go:

Before, by the way, the bag was way worse in person, than the pics, I didn't know it was going to work so well, I wish I would have taken my own before pics, these were from the auction:

  5. Wow- that worked like a charm!!

  6. THanks Twinkle.Twink. Unfortunately, mine is all black. I can't determine if it's grime or the blue dye is coming off, thus now the handle is black.

But I will try some the magic erasure.

  7. ^^^In that case, I would take it into the store and see what they say....if it is the dye coming off, nothing is going to help...if it is grime, the erase will work.

  8. ^^ gorgeous results twinkle.tink!!

  9. I agree!
And also, take it to the store to see what they say before using the magic eraser.

  10. I will try the Apple Guard cleaner first, I think it can take away most of the dirts, then you can use baby wipes. I would not recommend magic easer because it may dry out the leather~

  11. Do not use magic eraser on the epi handle, the color will come off with the dirt. It's fine to use it very carefully on the vachetta but not on colored leather.

  12. Great results Twinkle, where can I get the eraser?

  13. Magic clean erasers work very well.
