I think you need to take in to consideration what your hair texture is like first.
Do you have straight hair or waves? My straight hair will not hold a curl but I have it cut back to short (Sharon Stone pixie cut) and mess it up with Bumble and Bumble beach spray. This is a great product that gives you that messy day at the beach look. Now my one friend will only have super straight hair. She has curly hair but blow dries, flat iron and then does something else to make it straight. It is alot of work each morning.
