I've decided to go to the Louis store today. I was thinking of getting the Damier Azur French Wallet now that it comes with extra credit card slots and perhaps a speedy. My only hesitation in getting a speedy is the fact that the handles might get black from use instead of a nice deep brown patina. How can I maintain nice clean handles on a new speedy that is if I decide to buy it today?

Many people here, me included use a leather protectant, shining monkey, wilsons, kiwi, etc...many people think its best to let the handles patina naturally...you can do a search and see the ongoing debate
Also, you can clean the handles wit baby wipes if they get dirty.
