Don't laugh, but it was Coach....My mother bought me my first good bag (a Coach Station) and I was loyal for years....I like their Flatiron district sensibility and the fact that they always service the bags at no charge...they are still some of the most well made bags around.
I still like the odd LV bags. I tend to buy the their Taiga range for DH. I'm in love with Chanel's classic clothes as well as their bags, not to mention their faux jewelry.
I have a suede Gallery tote and it's still in perfect condition after quite a few years of wear.
