I have posted this in the Hermes section, but I believe it can apply to the others... Like many others, I do a great deal of window shopping before purchasing things, especially bags. But I often feel bad when I enter certain high-end stores just to browse. I feel as though I shouldn't be wasting the SA's time by asking he or she to get items from the back or of off a shelf display when I am not going to be making a purchase. I leave the store feeling terrible, but the fact of the matter is I should be able to "browse." It doesn't happen often, but I have experienced the sense that I should simply leave and stop wasting people's time if I am not ready to buy....and I usually indicate that I am "just looking." Anyone else ever feel scuffed for not buying at a particular moment?
