    The Sopranos: 15 Nominations

The Academy, for one, hasn't stopped believing—the HBO series may be swimming with the fishes after finishing its sixth season, but it still pulled in more nods than any other series. Bada bing!
  2. [IMG]
    Grey's Anatomy: 10 Nominations

Katherine Heigl's star is burning bright on screens big and small. Knocked Up's leading lady scored an Emmy nom for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, alongside Grey's costars Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh. Those contract renewals are practically paying for themselves already.

Twist of fate or Industry payback? T.R. Knight is up for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series—not so his former castmate Isaiah Washington, who pulled an Oprah earlier this spring and wisely took himself out of the Emmy race.

    Entourage: 7 Nominations

Ten percent agent's fee, 100 percent success. Our favorite Hollywood-skewering series snagged two spots in the Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series race—for Jeremy Piven and Kevin Dillon. Victory!

    Heroes: 8 Nominations

Jack Bauer thwarted by a techie geek? Talk about your superpowers. The out-of-this-world series bumped longtime favorite 24 out of the Drama Series race and snagged a Lead Actor nod for star Masi Oka.

    Ugly Betty: 11 Nominations

Emmy noms day is a beautiful thing. The underdog continues to prevail as the top Comedy Series nominee, including nods spread out among guest stars Salma Hayek and Judith Light, supporting schemer Vanessa Williams and star America Ferrera.
  6. [IMG]
Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee: 17 Nominations

HBO's critically lauded western, starring Aidan Quinn and Anna Paquin, may ride off into the sunset with a considerable amount of hardware tucked under its saddle. The miniseries led the pack with a record number of noms.

    The Office: 9 Nominations

Someone book the party room at the Scranton Chili's! The comedy champ is back to defend its Comedy Series title against Entourage, Two and a Half Men, 30 Rock and Ugly Betty, while stars Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson and Jenna Fischer all scored acting nods.

    30 Rock: 10 Nominations

The show scored bookend nods for stars Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey—and no one's happier than Baldwin's agent. We don't want to imagine the sort of threat-laden voice-mail a snub like that might induce.

    The Starter Wife: 10 Nominations

There's no Will, but Debra Messing has found another way to the Emmy Awards. She's nominated for Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie.

Saturday Night Live, "Dick in a Box": 1 Nomination

It's not just another nominee—it's also a helpful hint on how to juice up those staid old gift bags. Long after the SNL performance and subsequent YouTube fever, Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg will get to relive their caged-in glory with a nod for Original Music and Lyrics.
