Can someone please explain the Doc bags to me? I don't understand why there is only one handle. Can you only use the shoulder strap?
Karen

Hi! I just got one earlier this week. A pre loved Doc BB in epi. The one handle is really different. After playing around with it I've decided it's ingenious. It stays close to my body when I wear the bag on my shoulder or cross body. I was worried it would stick up awkwardly but no, it's perfect. I grab it to steady the bag when I want to open the zipper. And I can definitely use it by the handle (without the shoulder strap) when I want to hand carry the bag. It is very stiff so the bag does not "tilt" forward when you hand carry it. (Unlike if you decided to hand carry a bag with two handles by grabbing only one handle instead of both - the bag might tilt forward awkwardly). That doesn't happen with the doc because of the stiffness of the handle and how it's angled forward when attached to the bag. I can also just manage to slip my forearm through it and wear the bag on the crook of my arm, though it might be too tight to do so on others.

I like the one handle because the front of the bag looks so much cleaner without a second handle. I.e the second handle doesn't "get in the way" when you want to look at your bag and just marvel at how beautiful it is. Which I do. A lot. Hehe!

I couldn't find a lot of reviews/comments on the doc bb when I was trying to research it, so hopefully this helps you a little!

Thank you so much for your explanation! I'll go to the store to look at one and if I like it my pre-owned search will begin!
