I do see quite a number of Chanels where I live - though mostly the classic flaps in black or beige. The E/Ws that I see are usually found at formal dinners. Occasionally I do see the GST/ PST, the surpique line in beige, cambons and other seasonal bags. Today, for the first time ever, I saw someone with a black baby Cabas.
Do you see other e/w bags around?

Hmmm, interesting... I would have to say no. The only person I see with an e/w is myself... in the mirror. 
Where I live, I hardly see any Chanel's as it is, apart from the hideously fake Cambon totes. 
When I'm in the city/white plains, etc. I see more Chanel's, but I've still never spotted an e/w! 
The only e/w I have seen recently is my mom's friend's violet caviar e/w (which also happens to be my HG)... I could not stop drooling over it!
